Sally helped us fill five key positions, providing support including understanding our needs, helping us rethink how we work and define roles, writing the job descriptions, marketing the posts, screening candidates, developing and managing  hiring exercises for candidates, and supporting the offer/negotiation process. She also designed and conducted a staff retreat to helpus onboard the new staff members and ensure the entire team works together. She has been fantastic to work with and is truly a lifesaver and helped us navigate a challenging time for our organization. She is smart, thoughtful, personable, committed, and offers excellent advice.

Sally  was the COO of UsAgainstAlzheimer’s during our inaugural years. Her energy, commitment and skill in management and collaboration were central to our early success.  As a young and emerging NGO, agility, resilience and people skills were needed to draw people, organizations and donors to our work.  Sally not only had those skills, but also brought a sense of joy and humor to the job.  As a consulting partner, her experience and insight would be a gift to her clients.

I love working with Sally.  She is smart, creative, and tenacious with a strong work ethic.  I have really enjoyed her collaborative style and appreciate how nimble she can be when needed.  While she is very results oriented she also understands how important the process can be to an organization.

During my tenure as director of the career services at Colgate University, we engaged Sally  to design and facilitate immersion treks to Washington, DC for sophomore undergraduates.  She utilized her own scholarship, extensive leadership experience in public service and nonprofits, and contacts throughout civil society to co-lead the program.  Key elements included teaching nonprofit case studies during pre-trip participant retreats, designing and leading week-long site visit schedules, and facilitating reflection discussions to promote student learning and engagement.

Sally is a versatile leader who can come in at ground zero and build an entrepreneurial start up and direct the organization towards success and sustainability.  What distinguishes her from others is her impressive business acumen and emotional intelligence – she has the analytical skills for finance and operations and the management skills to inspire her team to do their very best work. A standout skill is her eye for opportunity.  I worked closely with Sally in Finance... She built the budgets carefully, aligning them with program goals, and regularly assessed the level of investment in the programs, and wrote excellent comprehensive, forward facing financial reports for the Board and external partners.  Her financial and operational processes ensured not only clean audits, but a well-informed team and board.

Sally is a brilliant thinker/manager who I am relying on to sharpen my plans for my new career lecturing about lifespan development. She is responsible, incredibly thoughtful, and a joy to work with!
