Operational Assessment:
To identify pressure points and opportunities for improvement, I conducted a comprehensive operational assessment. This included in-depth interviews with team members across all levels—administrative staff, nurses, and physicians. The assessment highlighted key areas needing attention, including workload distribution, communication systems, and operational inefficiencies.
COO Search:
Recognizing the need for strong leadership to support the practice's evolution, I led a search for a Chief Operating Officer. This process involved crafting a role profile aligned with the practice's values, sourcing and vetting candidates, and ensuring that the selected candidate could seamlessly integrate into the team while driving operational excellence.
Leadership Coaching:
I have been coaching Gary on a range of leadership challenges and opportunities. This ongoing collaboration includes exploring strategies to navigate team dynamics, enhance decision-making processes, and align the practice's growth trajectory with its foundational commitment to personalized, thorough care.
Outcome:
By addressing operational bottlenecks, strengthening the leadership team, and supporting Gary as a leader, the practice has been able to sustain its growth while maintaining its "secret sauce" of exceptional medical care.
